Two young architects forming Kóre Projects invited cure.tain to create a custom textile for the office of Studio 11:40, "a female-driven production house".
The curtain is meant to separate a meeting room from the rest of the office with a circular movement. The traditional Korean technique of producing patchwork - pojagi - was used in creating a vibrant, harmonized surface. This technique allows for avoiding having the back side of the regular patchwork. Silk, linen, cotton, canvas, and moiré are ingredients of this creation.
